For Shri MahaGanesha Puja 2027<\/strong>, we are planning collective transport options to and from Uluru<\/strong>, so wherever practical brothers and sisters can travel together without needing to organise each part of the journey themselves.<\/p>\n Collective options being considered include air travel, coach transport and shared\/group cars<\/strong>, including travel from Alice Springs to Uluru<\/strong> for those participating in the Realise Alice Springs Tour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n A 2 day coach trip will only be available from Adelaide to Uluru – further details to come.<\/p>\n Further details and costs will be provided as arrangements are finalised – so please ensure you Register or join our Newsletter or WhatsApp group so we can keep you up to date.<\/strong><\/p>\n For international yogis arriving into Sydney, India style accommodation between flights can be provided at our Burwood Ashram in Sydney. Please contact us for further details.<\/a><\/p>\n The information below provides details about flights, driving, airport transfers and getting around the Uluru region.<\/p>\n Flying to Uluru<\/strong><\/p>\n The easiest way to reach Uluru is to fly directly to Ayers Rock (Connellan) Airport \u2013 AYQ<\/strong>, located at Yulara, approximately 10 minutes from Ayers Rock Resort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Currently, direct flights operate to Yulara from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns<\/strong>, with services provided by Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia<\/strong>. Visitors travelling internationally or from other Australian cities can connect through one of these cities. (Ulu\u1e5fu-Kata Tju\u1e6fa National Park<\/a>)<\/p>\n As airline routes and schedules may change before our 2027 event, please check available flights when making your travel arrangements.<\/p>\n Ayers Rock Airport to your accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n Complimentary airport coach transfers are currently provided for Ayers Rock Resort hotel guests<\/strong> travelling on scheduled Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin flights. Advance bookings are not required. After collecting your luggage, follow the hotel transfer signs and board the AAT Kings coach outside the terminal. (Ayers Rock Resort<\/a>)<\/p>\n Driving from Alice Springs<\/strong><\/p>\n Uluru is approximately 465 km by road from Alice Springs<\/strong>, with a direct driving time of approximately 5.5 hours<\/strong>. The road from Alice Springs to Ulu\u1e5fu-Kata Tju\u1e6fa National Park is fully sealed and suitable for a standard 2WD vehicle. Rental vehicles at Yulara are limited, so Parks Australia recommends booking ahead. This shuttle does not<\/strong> take visitors into Ulu\u1e5fu-Kata Tju\u1e6fa National Park.
